GEORGE & LYNCH
In the Site/Civil under $2 million category, George & Lynch is presented an Excellence. With only 14 days to complete, George & Lynch completely replaced an existing old railroad crossing on U.S. 113 in Milford, Delaware. Using hour-by-hour scheduling, they were able to meet the milestones and provide a beautifully finished project.
J.F. SOBIESKI
In the Mechanical under $2 million category, J.F. Sobieski Mechanical is honored with an Excellence for its work at CSC. CSC Headquarters, a 148,000-square-foot, four-story building comprising the most state-of-the-art workspace offers the employees conveniences such as a fully catered cafeteria, break areas throughout, mother and quiet rooms and rooftop picnic areas on the green roof.
EMORY HILL
In the GC/CM under $2 million category, Emory Hill received an Excellence. Emory Hill & Company built the Sultana Education Foundation’s stunning new Richard & Virginia Holt Center in Chestertown’s Historic District, which literally melded a 19th-century building with a new facility meeting LEED Platinum requirements to fulfill the foundation’s expansion goals.
GGA CONSTRUCTION
GGA Construction is presented an Excellence in the GC/CM $5-10 million category for Las Americas. The new Aspira Charter School project was completed under budget and in only nine months. Crews worked around the clock to transform an old warehouse into a state-of-the-art facility using a design/build delivery system.
