The team was tasked with
creating a Hudson Valley gem
in Stanfordville that would
be sophisticated and suitable,
situated on the 300-acre work-
ing horse farm that the clients
own. The footprint of the house
was placed on the property
where the homeowners could
best enjoy the rustic landscape.
The goal was for a design that
would support entertaining
large crowds in a comfort-
able environment. The public
areas of the home — the entry,
family and dining rooms, and
kitchen (which features a large
island) — have an open floor
plan, while the more private
areas feature intimate spaces.
Statement-making lighting
fixtures, bold wallpaper, and
elegant furnishings lend to an
impressive space.
