What causes the grout lines to
become discolored?
If grout lines weren’t sealed after installation or if the seal wasn’t properly maintained, eventually, dirt, mildew, and stains penetrate the porous grout, making it appear dull and dirty.
How does Sir Grout refresh a dingy tile floor and restore the color?
We use a non-toxic cleaning solution to pre-treat the grout lines, followed by a commercial-grade vertical scrubber and 300-degree vapor steam to remove embedded dirt and open the pores of the grout. Applying an acrylic sealant that repels stains and dirt is our final step.
