WESTCHESTER SMART VALUE AN OUTSTANDING
VALUE PROPOSITION
The Boyce Thompson Center in Yonkers
An enviable quality of life. A highly- talented and educated workforce with the skills to meet – and ex- ceed – modern workforce demands.
But Westchester’s value proposition doesn’t end there. With office space priced at less than half of that of New York City, the Westchester commercial real estate market offers sustained value, thanks to visionary developers, businesses, investors and forward-thinking local govern- ments. Through a variety of development, renovation, conversion and transit-oriented development projects, Westchester’s real estate market is evolving to align with contemporary business, economic and lifestyle needs.
DEVELOPMENT: A RIVERTOWNS RENAISSANCE
Yonkers: In late 2017, Ginsburg Development Com- panies (GDC) joined Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, along
with other city officials and dignitaries to celebrate the “topping off,” at 1177 @ Greystone, a new bou- tique luxury rental apartment building in the Greystone neighborhood of Yonkers. Featuring 55 spaciously de- signed apartments, the complex offers 10-foot ceilings, oversized windows and wide plank flooring. Just one block south is another GDC development, River Tides at Greystone, offering resort style amenities and high-rise elegance just five minutes from downtown Hastings- on-Hudson and 32-minutes by train to Manhattan.
Ossining: In 2016, GDC launched Harbor Square, a $65 million property which includes 188 one- and two-bedroom luxury rental apartments.
Peekskill: Ginzburg’s northernmost development features a beautiful wooded site with views of Peekskill and the Hudson River. The development will have 178 units, including 1,2 and 3 bedroom units, a fitness cen- ter and club room, and shuttle service to the Peekskill Railroad Station.
