Module 19 Completed Successfully; Module 20 Coming Soon

The North Carolina Forestry Association (NCFA), combined with our industry partners, has
successfully completed the ProLogger Module 19 continuing education courses for this year.
The ProLogger Module schedule runs from October 1 to June 30 every year, and relies on NCFA members and member companies for its facilitation.
“The module classes are a requirement to maintain certification, but these courses also provide a place for ProLoggers to interact with each other,” said Program Coordinator Jack Swanner. The ProLogger Modules,
as well as the base class, are focused
on making the industry safer and promoting sustainable practices. “The ProLogger program is very successful, and that’s mainly because of the loggers that support it and the companies that
continue to sponsor it,” said Swanner. The NCFA would like to thank all
of our industry partners that hosted, sponsored or catered ProLogger Module 19 this year. The program is an invaluable resource to forestry professionals in our state.
Currently, Module 20 is in develop- ment and will be available in the fall of 2019. Key topics that will be addressed
in Module 20 are as follows: Greenlight to Home (remastered), In the Company of Trucks, Level 1 Inspection, Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspection, Dash Camera/ GPS Safety Incentive Programs, and FPG Violations.
