Other U.S.-based organizations are actively involved
in all or part of the forest products export industry in North Carolina through various capacities. Some of these export market affiliates include the Southern Pine Council (SPC), the Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA), the Softwood Export Council (SEC), the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA), the Hardwood States Export Group (HSEG) and the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers, Inc. (AHMI). The NCFA and its partners hope to coordinate both inbound and outbound trade missions in the future.
