Many of Manhattan’s top hospitals have expanded into the region, bringing state-of-the-art medical procedures and the top physicians in every healthcare field much closer to home.

Hospitals & Medical Centers
Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla provides exceptional care and clinical expertise. The hospital offers round-the-clock care by in-house pedia- tricians and a social worker for every child.
Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) Westchester in White Plains offers the same exceptional orthopedic, rheumato- logic, and rehabilitation care as the hos- pital’s Manhattan campus. The hospital treats all musculoskeletal conditions, while radiology and low-radiation imaging services are available on site.
Memorial Sloan Kettering is considered the nation’s leading cancer treatment center, and the hospital’s West Harrison facility offers our area the same top-of- the-line care you will find in Manhattan, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation.
NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Division, located in White Plains, is a center for psychiatric care treating chil- dren, adolescents, and adults. The 270- bed hospital is staffed by Weill Cornell Medicine clinicians.
NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville is a 288-bed, acute- care facility recognized for its high stan- dards in patient care. New and revamped programs include a cancer center, cardiac catheterization laboratory, and a Center for Sleep Medicine.
NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor is an award- winning facility, recognized for its am- bulatory surgery department, no-wait emergency room, stroke treatment, and obstetrical department. The hospital’s services include wound care, rehabilita- tion, and radiology.
Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco is a member of Northwell Health, and employs 650 physicians. It was the first hospital in New York State to install a state-of-the-art infant safety system that captures high-resolution digital footprints of newborns. The hos- pital was also recently recognized for its stroke care and geriatric emergency ser- vices. Also part of the Northwell Health system is Phelps Hospital Northwell Health in Sleepy Hollow. Phelps offers
cutting-edge technology like the da Vinci Xi surgical robot.
St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers offers a 194-bed hospital, and special- ized programs in orthopedics, cardiology, and geriatrics. The facility offers a range of mental health, addiction, and senior programs for patients in the region.
In addition to being one of the area’s largest employers, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla covers every adult and pediatric specialty. The 895-bed hospi- tal employs 1,200 physicians among its 7,000 healthcare professionals. The hos- pital’s Westchester Medical Center Health Network includes Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and the Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla, MidHudson Regional Hospital in Dutchess County, Good Samaritan Hospital in Rockland County, and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Orange County.
White Plains Hospital, part of the Montefiore Health System, is expanding its space to include, among other spaces, a new 252,000 sq. ft. Center for Advanced Medicine & Surgery. The new facility will house outpatient surgery, endoscopy, im- aging services, maternal fetal medicine, a heart and vascular center, interven- tional radiology, and specialty practice offices. Montefiore Health Systems also has locations in the Bronx, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, and Nyack. Montefiore’s Westchester locations are community- based teaching hospitals. The Mount Vernon location offers inpatient, critical care, and ambulatory services and is a New York State-designed Stroke Center and HIV/AIDS Center. Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital offers primary, acute, and emergency care.
