Over the past four years, the Yonkers Industrial Development Agency (YIDA) has provided financial incentives to development projects representing
a total private investment of nearly $2 billion.
The developments are projected to create over 4,000 new residential units — of which a percentage are set aside for affordable housing — and upwards of 6,000 full‐time and part‐time construction jobs.
