HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
OUR MISSION
To empower the community to reach its full potential by eliminating the barriers of structural racism and revolutionizing teen engagement.
Year established: 2017 Number of full-time employees: 60 Number of part-time employees: 150 Annual revenue: $10 Million Geographic service area: Northeast Wilmington
The WRK Group (The Warehouse, REACH
Riverside and Kingswood Community Center)
is leading a $600 million revitalization of
the Riverside neighborhood in Northeast
Wilmington. We are replacing less than 300
units of mid-20th century public housing with
a 700-unit mixed-income community without
displacing any existing residents. In addition
to housing, The WRK Group provides direct
services including state-of-the-art teen center
The Warehouse, career development for adults and teens,
a Head Start preschool, a senior center, and economic development.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Donors may choose from giving to REACH Riverside, the “managing partner” of The WRK Group, for funds to be spent on programs and services without restriction, or to give to The Warehouse or Kingswood Community Center, The WRK Group’s “service partners.” Corporate partners have also given
to The WRK Group to fund programs and capital projects.

The WRK Group hosts a full schedule of community events that require volunteer help, as well as regular volunteer opportunities within our programs. To sign up to volunteer as an individual, visit our website. To inquire about bringing your service group to volunteer, email info@reachriverside.org.
