Plentiful and preparatory. Plentiful because there are so many opportunities to try new things, and preparatory because I know I will leave Calvert prepared to succeed in high school, and beyond.
What special event at your school fills you with school spirit?
I really enjoy the Calvert tailgates. We have two each year, one in the fall and one in the spring. It’s a great time because we have a large crowd to watch the games and there’s plenty of great food.
When you leave your school, what will you miss the most?
I will really miss the friendships I have made and relationships with the teachers and staff.
What is your school motto? What part resonates the most with you?
“Curiosity. Mastery. Purpose.” Curiosity probably
resonates with me the most because when you
begin Calvert, you really don’t know a lot, and Calvert is there to teach you everything you don’t know and so much more. They did this with me.
Maggie
Maggie, a student in the Sixth Age class at Calvert , can be spotted most mornings on her bike, riding up Tuscany Road to school with her dad. She tells us what she loves best about Calvert.
