This space is as cozy as
it is versatile. It not only serves as a library and
cozy reading area but
also a bar and a place for grandchildren to play and store their things out of sight. The bar area comes in handy for entertaining or
a night cap when reading alone in the evening. The tall built-ins double as a butler’s pantry for storing extra dinnerware.

SCARSDALE This is truly a whiskey lover’s paradise, as everything was designed with the history and use
of whiskey in mind. The project included a full gut of an existing basement, and the team converted it into a humidified whiskey cellar, full bar, and separate powder room. The subdued amber lighting and dark color choices lend the
space a sense of luxury and comfort. The furnishings and light fixtures were custom-made by hand
from reclaimed barn wood and old metal pieces, and whiskey barrels were shipped from Scotland and used throughout the design.
