HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Ability Beyond has pioneered innovative,
person-centered care for people with
disabilities for 70 years. Our network of
programs support those with autism, physical
and developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury, mental health and therapeutic needs through supported living, direct care, day, employment, and transition services for young adults.
We serve 3,000 people annually in New York and Connecticut and extend our impact nationwide through “Ticket-to-Work”programs and our corporate consulting arm Disability Solutions, which supports Fortune 500 companies in meeting their disability hiring goals.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Join our $20 Million “Making Beyond Possible” campaign to fund key initiatives and capital projects, including new and renovated “smart” homes, technology innovations, and initiatives that support employee development. Every gift,
no matter the size, makes an impact to enrich lives and create meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We seek volunteers for a variety of projects throughout the year such as planting and tending to gardens at our commercial facilities and residences, making special deliveries to group homes, organized social activities with people we serve in
our day programs, and Special Olympics. Individuals and employee groups are welcome!
