HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
The Nicholas Center (TNC) has revolutionized the way Autistic adults learn, live and work.
TNC supports Autistic individuals — a population facing 85% unemployment and under engagement — to learn critical life skills, improve social and communication abilities, gain meaningful vocational training, and engage in community projects.
With a focus on creating inclusive employment opportunities, TNC offers a Supported Employment Program (SEMP), supporting individuals on the job and has been instrumental in the creation of micro-businesses and social enterprises.
The Nicholas Center was co-founded by two mothers who wanted to make the world a more inclusive place for their Autistic sons and the Autism community.
