  HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
Since our founding, we have created 1,094
homes representing an investment of $383
million. We have also moved 9,149 homeless
households into permanent housing and
placed 8,099 job seekers into employment.
Westhab operates 15 homeless shelters in
Westchester and New York City. Our 1,017-
unit affordable housing portfolio comprises
39 multi-family rental buildings developed, owned, and/or managed by Westhab. We also operate three full-service employment centers in Westchester. Our nine youth programs provide 1,300+ kids each year with a safe and supportive environment to put them on pathways to long-term success.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Westhab holds two large fundraising events each year, our Celebration Dinner and our Golf Classic. In addition, supporters are encouraged to give to our annual appeal each December. At any time of the year, your support allows us to fill programmatic gaps, enhance the services we deliver, and ensure our clients are on the path to independence.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Westhab volunteers have the chance to engage with the communities we serve through our youth and adult education programs, summer camps, after-school programs, employment services, and our food pantry. Our brand new Dayspring Community Center in Yonkers will also present new and fun opportunities to lend a hand.
