32 | GIVING GUIDE 2022
HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
WLS works to provide cost-effective approaches for administrative and technology support, cataloging assistance, delivery
of materials, training of library staff and trustees, and the sharing of digital resources. We do our work with a disciplined focus on equity, diversity, and access, which gives
our outreach programs and member library activities the broadest reach and relevance. We are committed to providing services for the interest, information, and enrichment of all people in the communities we serve.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Private donations leverage public library funds to expand outreach services
for broader reach and greater impact. Whether through sponsorship, grants, individual gifts, donor advised funds, or a legacy gift, your support has measurable impact. Donate and learn more here: www.westchesterlibraries.org
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
WLS trained volunteer Study Coaches help adults earn their high school equivalency diploma. Using an online study program, Coaches guide and encourage adult students preparing for the GED exam. Meet your students in person or online. Your time is 2 to 3 hours per week for one or more students. If interested, email Pam at phoffman@wlsmail.org.
