HOW WE MAKE AN IMPACT
WJCS serves the diverse needs of 20,000
Westchester residents of all ages and
backgrounds every year. We have 88+
programs; provide 90,000+ mental health
services at 16 behavioral health clinics; offer
evidence-based trauma treatment for 225+
children who are survivors of sexual abuse,
support 1,600+ LGBTQ+ youth; educate
3,000+ students about violence prevention;
engage 300+ families in child development
programs; and offer case management,
resources, and social activities to help seniors age safely at home.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Your donation provides vital funding for services to people in need of mental health, trauma, disability, aging, early literacy and education, and LGBTQ+ support. We are grateful for individual donations, monthly giving, matching gifts, IRAs, wills and bequests, and donations to our Back-to-School and Holiday Toy Drives.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
WJCS has over 250 active volunteers. Based on their interests and skills, volunteers are matched with one of the many WJCS programs, including: after- school enrichment, ParentChild Center, LGBTQ+ Center Lane, and Care Calls for seniors and members of our group homes. Bar and Bat Mitzvah youth also volunteer in community projects.
