This family-run winery has produced award- winning vintages for more than 40 years. Head to the tasting room in Chadds Ford for tastings and wine bar service, or play it extra safe with curbside pickup.
GRACE WINERY
Grace Winery’s tasting room is housed in a meticulously restored 18th-century barn, adding a side of history to your winery experience. The tasting room was temporarily closed at the time of writing, but pickup options were still available. Walk off your buzz on the nearby hiking trail or make a weekend of it by spending the night at the historic Inn at Grace Winery.
CHADDSFORD WINERY
Chaddsford is technically in
Chester County, but don’t let
that scare you away! It’s one of
Pennsylvania’s most acclaimed
wineries, but its focus on
approachable, easily paired tastes
makes it a good choice for less experienced
wine drinkers too. The main location in Chadds Ford is open for limited outdoor seating, while the Peddler’s Village tasting room in Lahaska takes walk-up orders for wine by the bottle or glass, seven days a week.
JOHN ROBERT CELLARS
This wine bar and tasting room opened in Essington last year. As an urban winery, John Robert Cellars doesn’t grow its own grapes, but rather sources them from all over the world. Patrons can bring their own snacks or enjoy a house-made cheese plate with their wine tasting.
