For Beer Lovers
STERLING PIG BREWERY
This Media favorite brews its lineup of craft beers
in small batches, directly on-site. Sterling Pig beers strike the balance between being flavorful and drinkable — whether you choose the Piggy Stardust Tripel, the Shoat Pilsner or the Big Gunz Double IPA.
IRON HILL BREWERY
If you like your beer with a side of delicious New American cuisine, you can’t go wrong with Media’s Iron Hill Brewery. Iron Hill prides itself on a handmade approach, which includes brewing beer on site and making every dressing and sauce from scratch.
At the time of writing, all breweries and wineries listed in this article were at least partially open to guests, but this may change. Before you go, check each venue’s website and/or call ahead.
2SP BREWING COMPANY
2SP’s flagship brew is the Delco Lager, but you
won’t lack for options if you want to branch out.
The brewery’s Aston tasting room has 20 taps with a rotating selection that wears its Delco origins proudly on its sleeve, and a rotating cast of food trucks is onsite on Fridays and Saturdays. Wawa Coffee Stout, anyone?
THE LARIMER BEER COMPANY
Larimer, a brewery and taproom in Chester, was temporarily closed at the time of writing, but hoping to reopen soon. Popular brews include the Black Is Beautiful Imperial Stout, the Regulators IPA, the
K-38 Mexican Lager and the Not Your Sorority Sister’s Seltzer Blackberry & Key Lime flavor.
FOUR FINGERS BREWING COMPANY
Four Fingers in Aston is the newest member of the brew scene in Delco, offering a solid lineup of options such as the Oatmeal Stout, the Hazy Crazy IPA and the Neumann Brown Ale.
