Royal Farms Arena was recognized in 2015 as the TOP CONCERT VENUE for its size by Billboard magazine.
This year, Royal Farms Arena is hosting national acts, including Kid Rock, Blake Shelton and Jimmy Buffett, as well as sporting events such as Monster Jam Truck Rally and Shogun Fights.
In addition, the venue is home to an Arena Football League franchise, the Baltimore Brigade.
ROYAL FARMS ARENA, the city’s largest indoor sports and entertainment facility, has long been considered an anchor that contributes to the growth and prosperity
of Baltimore. Royal Farms Arena can also be used as a companion/flex space to the Baltimore Convention Center because the venues are just a few blocks apart in the heart of downtown.
The arena, which is city-owned and privately managed by SMG, hosts more than 700,000 guests annually. With 11,000 permanent seats and space for more than 3,000 temporary floor seats, Royal Farms Arena can accommodate events ranging from 5,000 people
to more than 14,000. The main floor
of the arena measures 228 feet by
100 feet. There are seven connecting meeting rooms, each 27 feet by 27 feet, available for small functions like cocktail parties and meetings. The facility
is a short walk from the Baltimore Convention Center and may also be used for general sessions or other supplemental programs.
planners and suppliers with specifications for producing more sustainable events.
The BCC has also recently taken major steps to ensure sustainability. By taking trash to the “Wheelabrator Incinerator,” which converts trash to electricity, 29,804 kWh were generated from 54.19 tons of waste. This
is enough to power three single-family homes for an entire year.
