Le Cavalier at The Green Room
BPGS was in charge of renovating this 4,365-square-foot restaurant that operates as part of the HOTEL DU PONT. This historically significant restaurant layers antique elements with lavish modern finishes to complement many original features, which date back to 1913.
Route 13 Sewer Rehabilitation
George & Lynch worked on this key infrastructure project in
Kent County. The sewer pipe that carried waste through Dover was in desperate need of repair. Until it was uncovered, the county didn’t know just how bad the pipe was. Sliplining (a time-saving process where a smaller “carrier pipe” is installed inside the pipe that’s being repaired) was used to minimize traffic disruption through the busy U.S. 13 corridor.
W.L. Gore & Associates
M. Davis & Sons worked on the rigging and installation of prefabricated sea containers used for office and lab space at W. L. Gore. The three upper sea containers were cantilevered over the bottom containers. (Cantilevers are rigid structures that are fixed at one end and loose at the other — think diving boards.) This project required an intense amount of precision.
