SKIMBOARDING. Dewey Beach is the East Coast Skimboarding Capital and hosts the annual Zap Amateur World Championships
of Skimboarding every August. This popular sport combines skateboarding maneuvers with surfing and thrives on our local beaches. For kids, there are various popular opportunities for skim lessons and camps offered during the summer months.
