Founded in 1922, Unitex is a 4th generation family-run healthcare laundry service. Unitex provides reusable products ranging from branded uniforms to linens and patient gowns, as well as pick-up, laundering, and regular delivery service. Over 170 trucks travel to and from 12
plants throughout the Northeast, servicing over 5,500 healthcare customers of all sizes. Unitex is accredited by
all the governing entities that inspect and certify healthcare laundries that process reusable textiles for hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities—using the highest, professionally-recognized standards for patient safety and infection prevention.

Every morning I start with the reports and schedule of the day. Currently due to COVID I do a health check with each employee, taking temperatures and making sure everyone is prepared at their station.
