Community Engagement
& Volunteerism
“In addition to funding, another way Resorts World engages the community is through service and employee volunteerism,” Stoddart says. “This year alone, Resorts World employees cleaned up a local shoreline, planted a tropical garden bed, and donated over 50 liters of blood!”
Reflecting on the benefits of being based in the World’s Borough, Stoddart says, “Queens is such a central location and truly represents a sort of global crossroads, especially being within minutes of JFK International Airport. The mix of languages and cultures in Queens adds a special vibrancy to New York City’s first and only casino. The enthusiasm of our employees and the energy of our guests is unmatched.”
