Featuring over 6,500 of the most popular slots and electronic table games on three gaming levels, Resorts World New York is New York City’s first and only casino – and it’s nestled in the heart of Queens.
Now, both New York residents
and tourists alike can enjoy a new luxurious hotel, expanded casino and new restaurants at the Resorts World New York complex.
“We’re thrilled to open our
luxury, 400-room hotel, the Hyatt Regency JFK in August 2021. Along with the opening of our hotel, there’s new gaming, dining, and retail options, along with a fabulous
new grand lobby entrance,” says Michelle Stoddart, Vice President
of Community Development at Resorts World.
The much-anticipated opening, explains Stoddart, came after a difficult 2020.
“Like many other businesses, Resorts World was forced to close its doors during the height of COVID,”
she recalls. “When we reopened
in September 2020, we enacted a comprehensive, 21-Point Safety Plan to address the health and safety concerns of our employees and guests.”
Resorts World’s 21-Point Safety Plan includes:
• Non-invasive thermal screening of all visitors on the property
• Daily health screening questionnaire for employees
• The usage of face masks for all employees and guests
• Sanitation stations throughout the gaming floor providing hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes to guests
