The EUKOR
Morning Compass
, a
pure car-truck carrier (PCTC) with
a 6,645-CEU capacity, recently
arrived for the first time at the Port
of Baltimore.
The Morning Compass,
which was built this year in Ulsan,
Korea, and measures more than
650 feet in length, discharged 29
Hyundai excavators.
EUKOR Car Carriers Inc. is mainly
involved in port-to-port ocean
transportation of finished vehicles,
from cars and trucks to buses and
heavy machinery. Baltimore is a
major loading port on EUKOR’s U.S.
East Coast to West Africa service
route; major discharging ports
include Lome, Cotonou, Lagos and
Huangpu.
