Forestry Course
The AN53 Natural Resources II — Forestry course and
credential launched in August 2024. We are excited to
share some initial statistics regarding the reach of the
course and increasing enrollment in the natural resources
pathway within agricultural education from 2023 to 2024.
For reference, a student can register for the forestry course
if they have already completed AN51 Natural Resources I.
These percentage increases show that more and more
students are interested in exploring the natural resources
pathway, which increases the opportunity for students to
take the new forestry course.
We plan to further promote the course to various
audience segments as we learn more about the successes
and challenges educators are experiencing in bringing
this course to their schools.
As always, if you are interested in
being a resource for teachers and students,
