Disaster Relief:
How the NCFA Is Helping
caused devastation to our neighbors in Western North
It has been almost three months since Hurricane Helene
Carolina. The amount of love and support from this
community and beyond has been nothing short of remarkable.
Since Helene’s destruction, the NCFA has been working
with its members to determine their challenges post Helene
and working with the NC General Assembly on those recovery
efforts. The NCFA formed a coalition with the Forest Landowners
Association and other state associations to implement the items
listed in the Disaster Recovery Policy.
As time goes on and efforts to rebuild continue, we cannot
forget about the ongoing needs of those to the west. We’ve created
a webpage within the NCFA member portal that will continue
to be updated with resources and information regarding disaster
relief — ways you can help as well as important information and
resources for those affected by this disaster. Please feel free to
check back frequently, and if there is anything our organization
can do to help, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
