Nicholas Maxwell Curtis Memorial Scholarship Endowment
The late Nicholas Maxwell Curtis lived a life committed to sustainable forestry and helping others. His friends and coworkers have
honored his memory by establishing the Nicholas M. Curtis Memorial Scholarship Endowment through the Forest Education and Conservation Foundation (FECF). The goal of the scholarship initiative is
to help forestry students at North Carolina State University pursuing an undergraduate degree in forest management ease their financial burden. The FECF will award one scholarship to a student who shows academic excellence and financial need. The scholarship will apply to the spring 2023 semester. ■
