Social Media Campaign Highlights Essential Role of Truck Drivers
In early December, the NCFA released “TRUCK DRIVERS – FORESTRY ESSENTIAL,” a major campaign that focuses on the importance of truck drivers to the forestry industry with regards to the planting season.
At the October Board of Directors meeting, the NCFA received resounding feedback asking for help in workforce development in this niche area. The NCFA collaborated with the Carolina Loggers Association, IFCO Seedlings, and ArborGen Seedlings, as well as the Forest Resources Association for quotes, images, and statistics on the importance of truck drivers during the planting season.
“Truck Drivers – Forestry Essential” was widely shared by our partners
and on the NCFA social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter. Watch
for additional campaigns focused on truck drivers in 2022.
