WHAT DOES THE PERFECT GETAWAY LOOK LIKE? THE ANSWER IS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FOR EVERYONE, BUT THERE ARE A FEW THINGS WE CAN ALL AGREE ON.
It’s a place where you can recharge and reconnect in beautiful nature settings. It’s a place full of rich history, where museums and significant sites at one-of-a-kind boutiques, experience delicious cuisine, and taste locally made beers and wines. It’s a place that’s easy to reach, but far enough from home that it feels like a real getaway.
Delaware’s Quaint Villages offer all that and more. In the pages that follow, let us introduce you to the many wonderful sights and attractions waiting to be discovered. We’re excited to meet you!
Dover
Delaware’s state capital is the cradle of our state’s history. On the storied Green at the center of town, ratify the U.S. Constitution, giving our state its nickname The First State. The Green is also at the center of First State Heritage Park, an urban park without boundaries that encompasses dozens of historic sites. For excitement, place a bet at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort, hear the roaring engines at Dover Motor Speedway, explore aviation history at Dover Air Force Base’s Air Mobility Command Museum, or
