GOLFING
If you like to hit the links, there are plenty of options to choose from in Kent County!
At Dover Par 3, play all day for one rate, whether it’s on the 18-hole course or at the driving range.
Garrison’s Lake Golf Club in Smyrna is a newly renovated championship, 18-hole course (par 72) that is notable for its large, undulating greens. In Magnolia, Jonathan’s Landing Golf Course offers a challenging but fun 18 holes (par 71), as well as a driving range, practice green and short-game area.
KAYAKING/BOATING
Kent County is home to numerous scenic bodies of water. The following have boat launches and ramps that offer a great starting point for your exploration:

ZOOS &
DuPont Nature Center (Milford): This educational and interpretive site is located in Mispillion Harbor,
into the Delaware Bay. Displays at the center feature and terrapins. Visitors can view nesting ospreys on the Osprey Camera or use the Harbor Camera to ob- serve horseshoe crabs and birds along the shoreline.
St. Jones Reserve (Dover): The visitor center at St. Jones Reserve hosts interactive activities and exhib- nature trail, with a quarter-mile boardwalk over the salt marsh that connects the reserve to the adjacent wildlife management area.
NATURE CENTERS
Want to learn more about wildlife, or have up-close encounters with animals?
Abbott’s Mill Nature Center (Milford): The nature center sits inside the Milford Millponds Nature Preserve and includes a handicapped- accessible boardwalk that follows a clear coastal-plain stream to open meadows, a picnic area and a Garden for Wildlife idea garden. The visitor center features a live animal collection, as well as animal displays.
