Something in the Air

During one of the warmest summers in recorded history, smoke from the Canadian wildfires found its way south to the Brandywine Valley, blanketing the landscape and filtering the skies with a yellow-brown haze. As I headed out to dinner one evening, the sun was setting over freshly baled hay at Fat Chance Farm. The scene couldn’t have been more perfect. Out of a disaster sometimes comes art.
