accredited Trevor Zoo in Millbrook. You may see local teens, fondly referred to as “zooies,” care for and feed the animals, as this is the only zoo in the U.S. located on a high school campus.

Get Moving at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum
Located on the picturesque Poughkeepsie waterfront, the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum, perfect for kids up to age 12, will ignite and inspire the next generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers and innovators. With the “Science Revealed!” exhibit, children and families can engage in a full-body physical exploration of motion, air, forces, fluids and electricity.
