AmeriHealth Caritas, which has numerous locations throughout the region, is a managed- care health plan serving more than 114,000 Medicaid recipients in Pennsylvania. From locally focused health insurance plans to national-scale programs that assist those who need it

Boeing, which has a
facility in Ridley Park, Pa.,
is a leading manufacturer of
commercial jetliners and defense,
space and security systems. In 2013,
the company secured a five-year, $4
billion contract to make Chinook helicopters
for the Army at its Pennsylvania plant. Currently, the company is seeking a state grant to transform a vacant building at its Ridley Park location into a workshop for aircraft modification. Boeing supports airlines and U.S. and allied government customers in more than 150 countries.
Crozer-Keystone Health System has many urgent-care, outpatient and hospital locations throughout Delaware County and
the surrounding areas, including five hospitals: Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Taylor Hospital, Springfield Hospital and Community Hospital. Crozer- Keystone’s mission is to provide high-quality health services to the residents of the county in both a patient-centered and cost-effective way. At the same time, Crozer-Keystone employs more than 5,000 people in Delaware County.
Delaware County Community College (DCCC) marked its 50th anniversary in 2017 and announced its new president, Dr. L. Joy Gates Black. DCCC employs more than 1,000 faculty members and has been named a
“Great College to Work For” more than five years in a row by The Chronicle of
Higher Education. DCCC faculty members offer students from
Delaware and Chester counties 33 associate degrees, 17 transfer
degrees and 33 certificate
program options in nine convenient locations.
Elwyn has two locations in Delaware County, but is
known for its campus in Media. The organization serves more than 12,000
individuals with a wide range of intellectual, physical, behavioral and developmental disabilities. For more than 158 years, Elwyn’s mission has remained steadfast: to maximize the potential of the people served to help them lead productive, meaningful lives. Chuck McLister was appointed

president and CEO in April 2017, succeeding Sandra S. Cornelius, Ph.D., who served Elwyn for more than a quarter of a century and announced her retirement in December of 2016.
Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester is a casino offering slots and table games, but it’s

Kimberly-Clark touches consumers’ lives in 176 countries with its many brands, which include Huggies, Cottonelle, Kleenex and Kotex. The company has more than 42,000 employees worldwide and made $18.2 billion in sales
in 2016. More than 1,000 Delaware County residents work at the company’s Chester plant.
Main Line Health system has been serving the people of Philadelphia and its western
suburbs since 1985. The Main Line Health team consists of more than 10,000 employees and 2,000 physicians who work together to deliver advanced medicine to treat and cure disease while also playing an important role in prevention and disease management. The system is comprised of some of the most respected acute care hospitals in the region, including Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital. Main Line Health has been repeatedly voted one the “Best Places to Work” in the Greater Philadelphia area and one of the only 22 health systems in the U.S. to receive System Magnet Designation, the nation’s highest distinction for nursing excellence.
