“The layout is very Chester County-esque
— rolling hills and a lot of undulation in
the greens. We have a beautiful creek that
runs through the valley of the course.
And despite the hills, it’s still a very
walkable course.”
In 2017, White Manor was acquired
by Concert Golf Partners, which now
features 34 upscale private clubs across
the country in its portfolio, including
TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, NJ
and Philmont Country Club in the
Philadelphia area.
“We like to keep the traditions that
club members have in place when we
acquire a facility, and then elevate
it,” said Director of Public Relations
Michael Abramowitz. “Every year, we put
investment into each one of our facilities.”
Recent upgrades at White Manor have
included a full renovation of the clubhouse
including the ballroom and the addition of
four pickleball courts to complement the
club’s existing tennis courts.
Events with up to 300 attendees can be
accommodated in the club’s ballroom,
and the pub/bar next door can be
incorporated into the event as well. “We
also have a front patio that’s ideal for
wedding ceremonies or smaller private
events,” Dawson said.
Another recent addition to White Manor
is a golf simulator facility. “As part of our
clubhouse renovation, we now have two
beautiful golf simulators and a separate
room that is our simulator lounge,” he
said. “Those can be reserved together or
separate for a private event as well.”
The club offers event planning as well as
catering services, so “we can really design
anything to fit whatever party anyone’s
looking to have,” Dawson said.
