and it has helped so many people improve their quality of life. We want to share this important natural remedy with as many patients as possible and help them achieve a better quality of life.”
Organic Remedies is particularly proud of a new product line it launched earlier this year in partnership with Ryan Shazier, a former Steelers player who suffered a serious spinal injury during an NFL game. “Ryan was told he would never walk again,” Spurlock said. “But after several years of intense rehabilitation, he’s now doing well and walking again. Medical marijuana helped him through a very difficult time, and he’s partnered with us to share his story and to help others.”
Research on the medicinal benefits of medical marijuana is also a top priority for Organic Remedies. As one of the state’s clinical registrants, Organic Remedies has
partnered with the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Organic Remedies has embedded researchers in four of its dispensaries, including its Paoli location, and is supporting nine research studies, including those focused on pain management, opioid misuse treatment, quality of life, and autism.
