CHESTER COUNTY CHAMBER

Malvern Preparatory School is an independent Catholic middle and high school with about 650 students. Founded by the religious Order of Saint Augustine, Malvern stresses a college preparatory curriculum, service to others and a robust athletic program.

Chester County has five more institutions of higher learning: West Chester University, Lincoln University, Immaculata University, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania and University of Valley Forge.
West Chester University is a public institution in the Pennsylvania System of Higher Education. Opened in 1871 to educate teachers, West Chester now has 17,000 graduate and undergraduate students on two campuses.
Lincoln University, in the southern part of the county, was the first of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities
