WELCOME, MEMBERS!
Dear Business Council of Westchester members,
As the new year begins, we are excited about the opportunities
awaiting BCW members in 2025.
Our organization offers incredible resources, networking, profes-
sional learning, advocacy, and a sense of community designed to
inspire and propel all of you to succeed. Together, our members will
reach new heights while achieving signifi cant accomplishments.
Last year’s successes included:
• BCW CEO Marsha Gordon chairing the Downtown Revitalization and NY Forward Initiatives in White Plains and Sleepy
Hollow. She also co-chaired the state Regional Economic Development Council.
• Launching a weekly podcast series, which quickly became a popular resource for our members, providing valuable
insights and discussions on business topics.
• Beginning our highly regarded Artifi cial Intelligence series, attracting signifi cant attendance and highlighting the
importance of AI in today’s business landscape.
• Introducing a program series on transformational projects in Westchester County, showcasing the innovative
development shaping our community’s future.
• Establishing the Westchester Clean Energy Coalition Group, reinforcing a commitment to sustainable and
environmentally friendly business practices.
In response to these initiatives, members praise the value of their memberships. In fact, more than 80% of new members
join through current-member referrals.
In the coming months, be on the lookout for announcements about the annual Energy Conference, Day of Wellness, Hall
of Fame Dinner, Annual Dinner, and our Leadership Conversations.
The BCW’s year-round advocacy program ensured that members’ voices were heard on all levels of government through
grassroots advocacy, which included the annual Washington DC Fly-In; Albany Lobby Day; the 2025 Legislative Agenda;
the Energy Conference; and more than 100 memos of support or opposition to the New York State legislature.
Membership at the BCW is critical to advocating for the county’s business community. The BCW will also continue its award-
winning networking events for members to build and create vital business relationships. As always, we are here for you.
“2024 was an outstanding year for the Business Council of Westchester, featuring numerous events, networking
opportunities, and informative programs that empowered our members to Build, Connect, and Win. I’m excited about all
the amazing plans for 2025 and wish you a successful year ahead!” —BCW Board Chair James Schutzer
