2024-2025 LEGISLATIVE/ADVOCACY INITIATIVES
Advocating for our members and the Westchester business community continues to be one of the BCW’s top priorities.
Our goal is to always be the eyes, the ears, and in many cases, the voice for our members on all levels of government. We
stay laser-focused on supporting and occasionally opposing legislation that has a direct impact on the business community.
The BCW’s advocacy program allows our members to receive — on a daily basis — important updates on key legislative
issues that impact businesses in all sectors. The BCW’s Government Action Council produces an annual Legislative Agenda,
which covers issues on all levels of government and is sent to every elected offi cial in the county as well as statewide
offi cials. In 2024, the BCW’s advocacy program held important meetings and events for our members, including our Political
Leadership Series, our annual Albany Lobby Day and Washington DC “Fly-In,” the annual Board of Legislators Reception,
Energy Conference, Congressional debates, and the 2024 Road to the White House Program.
The BCW urges all members to get involved in the advocacy program in 2025. For more information, please contact
John Ravitz at jravitz@thebcw.org.
