Westchester’s city centers are undergoing an unprecedented renaissance, with new residential and mixed-use developments popping up constantly in New Rochelle, White Plains, and Yonkers.
Rochelle, bringing amenities that make this modern city on the Sound more appealing and livable than ever before. In the last few years, almost two dozen residential developments have gone up or are in the works, including the 28-story 360 Huguenot, the two- towered 1 Clinton Park with urban and ocean views, the just-opened luxury midrise, Modera, ar tist-centric NewRo Studios, and 3THIRTY3, a brand-new, 28-story tower featuring 285 luxury apar tments, as well as The Printhouse, Watermark Pointe, and The Standard. With a recent groundbreaking, The
Renaissance, a $97 million Workforce Housing Group project, will soon join the crop.
New Rochelle is also creating more open, outdoor space, including a large, new waterfront park adjacent to downtown. Public transit has gotten a boost with CircuitNR, a six-seater electronic bus that’s available for free.
