Honoring Our Founding Mothers and Fathers
                 Town Tours & Village Walks is a series of free summer strolls through historic neighborhoods, hamlets, villages and sites in Chester County, PA.
This summer, explore Chester County’s heritage on Thursday evenings, beginning the     through the end of August. Tours generally last 50 minutes and begin at 5:30 p.m. Each tour is designed
to inform, entertain and increase awareness of Chester County’s rich heritage and historic landscape. A number            enjoy after the tour.
The National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 states that “the spirit and direction of the Nation are founded           historical and cultural foundations of the Nation should be preserved as a living part of our community life.” This is done, the Act states, to give “a sense of orientation to the American people.”
