MOSCA – La costruzione della derivazione del gasdotto TurkStream in Serbia verrà completata entro le prossime settimane. Lo ha detto il presidente russo Vladimir Putin nel corso della conferenza stampa con il suo omologo serbo, Aleksandar Vucic. Lo riporta la Tass. Putin ha anche affermato che la capacità delle strutture di deposito sotterraneo in Serbia passerà dagli attuali 750 mcm a 2 bcm e “ciò rafforzerà la sicurezza energetica non solo della Serbia, ma dell’Europa nel suo insieme.”
“La Bulgaria ha fatto saltare il progetto del South Stream e ora sta tentennando
per l’implementazione del TurkStream, probabilmente a causa di pressioni esterne,” ha aggiunto Vladimir Putin dopo l’incontro con l’omologo serbo Vucic.
“Vedremo presto cosa la leadership bulgara intende fare, ma abbiamo
molte opzioni per fornire gas all’Europa meridionale,” ha specificato Putin, sottolineando che la Serbia “potrebbe essere” uno dei Paesi sulla rotta di transito.
“La Russia ha assicurato a Belgrado che la Serbia riceverà il gas di cui ha bisogno, indipendentemente dall’esito dei colloqui sul transito del gas attraverso l’Ucraina,” ha detto nel corso del punto stampa congiunto il presidente serbo Aleksandar Vucic.
“Abbiamo un piccolo problema: non sapevamo come sarebbe arrivato il gas in futuro. Ho ricevuto assicurazioni da Putin e Miller (il Ceo di Gazpron, ndr) che saremo sempre in grado di ottenere gas aggiuntivo dal territorio di altri Paesi. I cittadini serbi avranno gas sufficiente grazie all’incontro
di oggi e alle parole del presidente Putin,” ha dichiarato Vucic. Se Putin fosse stato il leader della Russia già nel 1999 la Nato non avrebbe bombardato la Serbia, ha aggiunto Vucic incontrando Putin a Sochi. “La Serbia – ha aggiunto Vucic – apprezza Putin più di quanto apprezzasse i precedenti leader russi. Che i russi non ce ne abbiano per questo. Se Putin fosse stato in una posizione tale
da prendere decisioni in Russia nel 1999 nessuno ci avrebbe bombardato.”

ROME – The so-called ‘Basilica of the Mysteries’ has been reborn in Rome.
The basilica, one of the most magical and mystery-shrouded underground locales in Rome, has been restored with funding from Swiss foundation Evergete.
The restoration has restored the whole northern wall of the left-hand nave, with its refined decorations, and the blazing whiteness of its stucco work mixed with mother of pearl.
The underground church is near Rome’s major Porta Maggiore gate.
An intervention on the southern wall will soon be carried out.
According to some researchers, the building, which dates back to the 1st century AD, was the tomb of a family, the Statili, close to Emperor Augustus.
For others, it was the site of mystery cults and neo-Pythagorean rituals.
All its measurements, in fact, have to do with the number 3.
The latest studies by the Rome archaeological superintendency tend to confirm both theories, with one use being followed by the other.
In 2020 a new lighting installation will illuminate the internal stuccoes, while a ‘didactic room’ on the ground floor will allow visitors to see the decorations up close.
Some researchers believe the ancient relic was the tomb of a family close to the Emperor Augustus. Others
believe it was the site of mystery cults and rituals.
