PHILADELPHIA — A full-course dinner, extended cocktail hour with open bar and appetizers, and an evening of live music
are on tap at the American Friends of Italy Annual Gala on Jan. 26.
The gala runs from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Ballroom at the Ben, 834 Chestnut St. Tickets to the black-tie-optional event cost $175, and
all proceeds benefit La Salle Academy, Boys and Girls Club literacy programs and the American Friends of Italy Scholarship Fund.
Music will be provided by the Slippery Band and the Smooth Sounds of Steve Silicato.
Table packages, program advertisements and sponsorships are available.
Established in March 2016, the American Friends of Italy is a nonprofit organization that hosts social events throughout the year
to assist local children’s charities. The annual Gala is the group’s signature event.
Beneficiaries of previous Galas have included the American Liver Foundation, Fresh Smiles, La Sale Academy, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.
Purchase tickets to this year’s Gala or learn more about the organization at americanfriendsofitaly.org
