REVITALIZATION UNDER $5 MILLION BPGS CONSTRUCTION DE.CO Food Hall
DE.CO (an abbreviated version of “Delaware Collective”) is a multi-purpose space, primarily serving as
a food hall, located in the ground floor of the historic DuPont Building. The core and shell construction component required selective demolition of the existing office space and infrastructure ensuring that the existing plumbing and mechanical systems could be repurposed while maintaining an open floor plan. The design professionals on this project best utilized the existing space while navigating difficult conditions that are present in a building this age. Through coordination with the entire design and construction team, BPGS was able to deliver
an art-deco aesthetic.
