The Young Executives Committee (YEC), celebrating its 25th anniversary, continues to provide direction and to plan activities for a new generation of businesspersons. Made up of both contractor and associate members, age 40 and under, the mission of the YEC is to provide activities to promote the active involvement of the Association’s future leadership in the construction industry and the Delaware community.
This year’s Co-Chairpersons are: Adam DiSabatino of EDiS Company and Israel Mercado of Santora CPA Group.
This past Association year their activities included volunteering at the Delaware Food Bank; participating
in the first ever Governor’s
Construction Career Expo; volunteering at the NAWIC Chapter #96 Block Kids Event; delivering three truckloads
of donations to Stockings for Soldiers; volunteering at Dover Interfaith Mission of Housing, donating clothes and cooking/ serving dinner to 85 homeless men; Crab Feast Raffle and T-Shirt sales at DCA’s Crab Feast as well as helping with setup and breakdown; and the twice
a year clean-up on Rt. 58 for the Adopt-A-Highway program with DelDOT.
YEC events are a combination of social, networking, volunteerism and informational gatherings. If you have someone in your company you would
like to grow into a leadership position alongside others throughout the different areas
