It’s my pleasure to address you in the 2023 World Trade Center® Delaware’s publication, International Delaware. In the following pages, you will read about Delaware’s diverse and tight-knit business community, where connections are made easily and opportunities for growth are endless.
Delaware is home to many corporations, large and small, that enjoy the benefits of “The Delaware Way.” This term refers
to our longstanding philosophy of putting aside differences for the betterment of our communities, our neighbors,
and our economy. Our leaders — whether in the public or private sector — share a willingness to work together for our collective success as a state.
Delaware’s government and business community recognize the importance of exporters and importers to our state’s economy. World Trade Center Delaware (WTC Delaware) supports these industries by offering numerous services for international companies interested in initiating or expanding their U.S. presence. Working with partners locally and internationally,
WTC Delaware assists with U.S. office setup, business leads, maintains a job bank where international employers can find potential employees and conducts inbound and outbound trade missions. WTC Delaware also provides regular training seminars and roundtable programs to address issues of critical interest to companies operating in the global marketplace.
As Governor, I have been fortunate to work alongside groups like the World Trade Center and Delaware
Prosperity Partnership to create a business-
friendly climate in Delaware. I look forward
to continuing to work together to strengthen Delaware’s business community and economy.
