CONSTRUCTION & REAL ESTATE
Preston Schell
Ocean Atlantic Companies
Preston Schell left a career as an investment banker to return back
to the place that always brought
him the most happiness: Delaware’s beaches. Here, he founded Ocean Atlantic Companies, a full-service
real estate development firm that has built commercial projects, residential neighborhoods and resort clubhouses, including The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay and Lighthouse Club at Coastal Club. Along with his twin brother, Chris, Schell is also among the biggest philanthropists in Sussex County, donating millions of dollars annually to local causes. An avid environmental supporter, Schell also co-founded the Sussex County Land Trust.
