Although he originally earned
international recognition as a boxer,
it's been his longstanding commitment
to community that has led to the
continued leadership of Dave Tiberi,
who now serves as president of
Emergency Response Protocol Security
and founder of Donate Delaware.
Tiberi founded ERP, a regional
security company, in 2007 and as its
president is responsible for bringing
in new clients through prospecting,
networking and partnerships. In
light of the coronavirus pandemic, he
founded Donate Delaware as a way to
support health care workers and fi rst
responders. He’s also spearheaded a
monthly networking eff ort 14 years ago
called Delaware Decision Makers and
engaged in numerous community and
charitable organizations as a volunteer
and supporter.

Larry Meli
Delaware Blue Coats
In 2013, the NBA G-League affi liate
for the Philadelphia 76ers arrived at
Wilmington's Riverfront and within
a decade, the Delaware Blue Coats
secured its fi rst national championship.
It also became one of two teams to
arrive in the fi nals for three seasons
in a row. Th e Delaware Blue Coats
play at the Chase Fieldhouse built
by Buccini/Pollin Group and have
drawn thousands of fans to the games.
Delaware Blue Coats President Larry
Meli has helped guide the strategy
to draw high attendance numbers
and sponsorships. One of the biggest
moves was that Meli announced was
a deal with CBS Philadelphia affi liate
PHILLY57 to air 15 home games
for the team.

John Wellons has served as president
and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Delaware, the state’s largest provider
of before- and after-school programs,
since 2017. Th e organization boasts
an annual membership of 7,000
young people, with an average daily
attendance of 3,000 people. In addition,
the nonprofi t employs 600 people and
operates with an annual budget of
$25 million. Th rough his leadership,
Wellons focuses on strategic
development, intertwined with sound
business practices, as he, the board
and leadership team pursue a mission
to provide programming young
people need to grow into productive,
responsible, caring citizens.

Chrissi Rawak
University of Delaware
University of Delaware has a NCAA
Division I program with 21 sports and
a $48 million budget, the largest in its
football championship subdivision,
and the Athletic Director Chrissi
Rawak is responsible for it all. One
year after she was brought on, Rawak
oversaw the fi rst comprehensive
fundraising campaign for athletics,
which raised more than half of the $65
million renovation of the Delaware
Stadium and Whitney Athletic Center
construction. In addition, Rawak
renegotiated the apparel deal with
Adidas and the multi-media rights deal
with IMG (now known as LEARFIELD)
to strengthen the Delaware brand and
secure long term fi nancial guarantees.
For her eff orts, Rawak was named 2024
NACDA Athletic Director of the Year.
