Kenan J. Sklenar
Easterseals Delaware and
Maryland’s Eastern Shore
For the last decade, Kenan Sklenar
has served as president and CEO of
Easterseals Delaware and Maryland’s
Eastern Shore, a wide-ranging
nonprofi t that is celebrating its 75th
anniversary of off ering innovative
services that allow people with
disabilities and seniors to live fulfi lling,
independent lives. In this role, Sklenar
provides leadership in pursuit of the
organization’s mission as an important
community resource providing high-
quality services to those in need. Prior
to joining this local nonprofi t, Sklenar
led Easterseals of Mahoning, Trumbull,
and Columbiana Counties in Ohio as
its president and CEO for 18 years.
Michelle Taylor
United Way of Delaware
As president and CEO of United
Way of Delaware, Michelle Taylor
off ers strategic direction, operational
leadership and fundraising expertise to
advance the organization’s mission of
maximizing resources for communities
in need throughout the First State and
nearby Salem County, N.J., while also
leading a staff of 40 employees and
hundreds of volunteers. Taylor has
worked for United Way of Delaware
for more than two decades, and also
serves as chief steward of the United
Way brand in Salem County. In her role,
she serves as the nonprofi t’s public
face and is responsible for fostering
partnerships, driving community
engagement and ensuring the eff ective
delivery of programs and services.
