                 Letter from the Publisher
Welcome to Delaware Business Times’ seventh annual Giving Guide. We are pleased to present you with comprehensive profiles of local nonprofits that work throughout the year to make Delaware better and stronger.
These remain challenging times for many Delawareans and each of these groups welcomes your needed support as they strive to serve so many of our neighbors. Across the state, the human services safety net has been stretched very thin
and these organizations are filling the gaps to feed, educate, heal, and lift up our fellow citizens.
The Giving Guide is a handy reference tool to help you easily research and identify organizations that get you excited about donating and/or volunteering your time.
Each of these profiles includes a mission statement, community impact update, leadership information plus giving and volunteer opportunities. They also
provide important background information such as funding sources, annual revenue, and service area.
In addition, we hope that business leaders who read DBT will consider reaching out to some of these organizations – and others they may come across – to see if they can build a long-term relationship of giving and volunteering.
We hope that this guide reinforces the value that these organizations bring to our community and that it encourages you to dig deeper and consider supporting them and telling others about them.
Thank you for your interest in contributing to Delaware’s vibrant and essential network of nonprofit organizations.
